My Impression of Germany

Jan Hošek

(Prague, Czech Republic)

I arrived to the town Emden for study stay at Fachhochschule Ostfriesland for studying of shock waves and cavitation processes (6) at the beginning of February. All was dark and cold. But otherwise I found something interesting and typical for this part of Germany. Watertower in Emden (4) is typical example of building, which is dominant in town panorama in this flat country. I found out nice places close to Emden during weekend’s trips on the bike (5), (1) later. Next typical sights of Ostfriesland are Nordsea cost and islands (3) and all what is connected with a sea (2). But I visited inland too, because so flat country is a little bit boring after few months. But I sew rests of sea cost (10) and people, who enjoy yourself there (8). This kind of country is much more provocative (7) than flat country. Country can has many faces, but kids are same everywhere (9).
